  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Change mail name

I have a need to change mail names of existing accounts. It appears that it could be done. In fact, after making the change in preferences of a mail name the new mail name appears in the list of mail names. However not only that I can not login with the new mail name and password but, even after rebooting, I can login with the original mail name and password and access the original mailbox, even though that original mail name does not exist anymore in the list.

Help would be appreciated.
