changing dns -> redirecting a domain to the plesk server

I have noticed something strange..
most of the times, when I change the nameservers of one domain to point it for the first time to my plesk server,

after some hours if I use the plain domain name like marios.com the domains points to the server as it should be, but the other subdomains like www.marios.com work hours later with delay...
why is that ?

any one facing the same problem ?

Probably DNS propagation time. If you are making changes from a different nameserver to your nameserver, the changes must have time to be propagated/updated to the gTLD servers.

Of course, I have also seen occasional times where Plesk is 'supposed' to restart a service after a change is made, and it fails to do so. After making a change to DNS, you can always manually restart the DNS service from the control panel, or from a SSH login to the server.

ok thanx.
I have noticed the second thing you said my self..
