Question Changing from Horde webmail to Roundcube

Hallo,
I know how to install Roundcube and switch from Horde to Roundcube via Plaesk Installer, but...

So far I have been using Horde webmail.
Because I want to switch to roundcube because Horde webmail will soon no longer be supported by Plesk, I have 2 questions:
1. will switching to roundcube change the URL for my customers from
webmail.example.com
to
roundcube.example.com
so that I have to inform all my customers, or can I continue to access Roundcube via the (old) webmail URL?

2. will all mails from Horde Webmail be retained after the changeover to roundcube and will they be visible in roundcube?

Sorry, I don't have a deeper understanding and I can't find an explanation in the forum yet.
Thank you very much for your help!

1. webmail.domain.tld will stay
2. Horde/Roundcube are like a mail client they just access the mails stored on the server, so yes they will all be still there.

Beware that any contacts your customers have in their Horde address book in won't be available in Roundcube. If you want to keep these, you'll need to migrate these contacts manually. These same goes for any mailbox filters/rules.
