• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Beenr unning into a problem with the Change Password function in IMP on Plesk 7.0.4. I put in the complete email address and supply the passwords requested and submit it. It then returns with an "Incorect Password" error. I telnetted to my PopPassD server and the converstation is as below:

200 Poppassd v1.1 (NT) -- hello, who are you?
user [email protected]
200 your password please.
pass secretpwd
500 Command Not Expected.

Could the PopPassD.exe file be bad? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I have this same problem, anyone got any ideas? I am using MailEnable Pro if that matters....

Well, I never found a fix for this version of Plesk. However, when we upgraded to Plesk 7.5, the password changing in HORDE began to work. Sorry that I don't have a better answer for you!

I currently am working on this same issue on a Plesk 7.6.1 for Windows which has the same errors. Basically you can login with the correct password, but when you attempt to change the password you get invalid password error messages.
