• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Changing port for RDP on win 2003

NYJimbo

New Pleskian
I would like to change one of my plesk servers RDP port to something unusual like 9403 (not the real number). I know how to do it in REGEDIT on the server and I know how to use it from an actual remote computer via the RDP client.

What I am concerned about is if I change the port in REGEDIT on the server, will the PLESK function to connect still work.

"Home -> Tools & Settings -> Connect to the Server Over Remote Desktop"

That shows screen size and choose JAVA or Active X. It does not show a port option.

Will plesk control panel know which port to pick when it launches the new screen with the RDP logon or will it still default to 3389 ?

I dont want to "break" the function in the plesk menu.
