chmod rights

Hello,

Since the last PLESK update i can't get any chmod rights on directorys that have been created by a php page (cms).
The CMS can create a directory ( for example: blabla.nl/httpdocs/pics/) but does not have any rights to write or execute the directory or the files being placed in the directory.
Even when i try to delete this dir. or what's in it by the PLESK file manager i get an error.

Any suggestions?

Thanx
