    If you notice on your windows server 2003 box that your cpu is getting eaten up all the time, use task manager and see if you see the process cideamon.exe. It uses way too much cpu and runs constantly. In most cases it will use 100% cpu.

    The service itself is content indexing server which can be switched off in your "Services" from the administration tools.

    I believe it is simply called indexing service.
