Clean Plesk 12.5 Install - PHP-Fpm issue "please specify user and group other than root"

Hey guys,

Installed a fresh Plesk 12.5 installation for CentOS 6.7 and I am having issues with php-fpm. I have done the following:

• Use php-fpm on php 5.3.3 by os vendor
• Install new php versions such as 5.5 and 5.6
• Reinstall nginx and php-fpm via plesk updates and upgrades

Still continuing to receive these errors below:

Error when saving php 5.5/5.6 + fpm + nginx in host settings

ERROR: [pool newsetup.cloudngin.com] please specify user and group other than root [13-May-2016 19:02:02] ERROR: FPM initialization failed Failed to start plesk-php55-fpm service

Error when restarting 5.5 php-fpm in Tools & Settings / Services Management

Error: Unable to make action: Unable to manage service by phpinimng: ('start', 'plesk-php55-fpm'). Error: [13-May-2016 18:44:31] WARNING: Nothing matches the include pattern '/opt/plesk/php/5.5/etc/php-fpm.d/*.conf' from /opt/plesk/php/5.5/etc/php-fpm.conf at line 119.

This is the first time I am having these issues on a completely new installation with nginx + php-fpm, so there is something wrong by default.

to solve the issue untill Plesk solves it within an upcoming update/upgrade/patch, you might like the idea to use a standart configuation - file, like this one:

Feel free to add such a standart - configuration file at each Plesk - PHP - version, located at: /opt/plesk/php/X.X/etc/php-fpm.d/ and pls. don't forget to adjust the line

... with the used X.X - version compaired to the Plesk - PHP - version
