Client able to run torrentflux under apache user avoiding quota

A client has installed torrentflux.

Somehow the applications is calling /usr/bin/python and that is being run under the user apache and not their client username.
This avoids quota. Is this a problem with SuExec or PHP Safe Mode off?
Is this a Plesk bug?

Can anyone advise?

I'm having a similar problem, any news about this ??
Bandwidth is not being measured when running torrentflux on any of the client's accounts.
Any help / suggestion would be appreciated.

Mod_security and disabling PHP functions such as shell_exec will prevent your users from running TorrentFlux.

Well yes, i was aware of this, but i dont want to prevent the users from running torrentflux, i just want plesk to be able to measure the bandwidth used for it :/
