  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question cloudlinux

PedroN

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

It seems that cpu limit is controlled by cloudlinux, and seems that plesk does support it, but I have some few questions. Now I am running plesk 12.5 with ubuntu, and it seems that cloudlinux is an OS but in other sites I saw that some people install cloudlinux like if it was a program, can you please tell me what is cloudlinux exactly, and if I can install/use it in ubuntu with 12.5 and how?

Thanks

Hi PedroN,
simply install CloudLinux as you would any OS and install Plesk as usual :)
Or if you have a CentOS 7.2 server with Plesk already installed you can install CloudLinux like...

# wget -O cldeploy http://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/sources/cln/cldeploy
# sh cldeploy -c
# sh cldeploy -k <activation_key>
# reboot

Very simple really. It's all documented on their site.
I hope that helps.
Kind regards

Lloyd
