• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Has anyone installed this application server with Plesk 7.5.
If so are there any "best practices" as far as installing coldfusion after PLesk 7.5 has been installed and configured?

I've been running CFMX 6.1 with 7.5 and haven't encountered any significant issues (assuming you have the add-in license for CF support). I did a clean J2EE install of CFMX, choosing to use the built-in web server and then installed the CFMX updater. I choose the built-in web server on the initial install because you can get into issues with the updater if the /CFIDE directory isn't where the updater expects it to be. After the install/update I was able to create sites and check the 'Coldfusion' support checkbox and everything worked just as I expected.

And what about COldfusion 7 and Plesk 7.5.6

Any suggestions on the install? Have had several failed attempts.

Nevermind.. I got CF7 ENT and Plesk 7.5.6 working just fine. I am now gogint o get CF 7 and 7.6.1 working as well..

Will post results.
