Is Coldfusion a free component or do I need to but from macromedia?

I have the add-on from plesk but it do not work.

Coldfusion is definately not free. It starts at $1200 for a license.

Besides the cost, there is a bit of a learning curve to setting up a secure shared cf environment. I wouldnt recommend getting into it unless you have the demand for it and the support to back it up.
