Issue Communication with task manager has failed

Hello folks,

Any thoughts most appreciated, and thank you in advance!

In Plesk I first tried adding a new domain and I got:

Domain creation has failed.

Followed by:

Communication with task manager has failed: Internal Server Error: '{"code":null,"description":null,"message":"Stdin.Write failed: mkdir /var/lib/plesk/task-manager/runtime/1875174/: too many links (*fs.PathError)"}

Then I tried creating the new domain without WP, same thing. Then I tried removing an existing domain, and got mostly the same thing. I tried rebooting, and got the same thing.

I am at a loss. I've looked around but can't quite find the same issue. And my SSH talents are quite limited.

Thank you. Yes, I just tried it and get a "exit status 1" which I understand means it ran into a problem that it can't fix?

So I did a few other tests/repairs and then went back to the original repair. But it still returned a "status 1". The other repairs seemed ok. I have attached the session (not long) to view. I can see there is mention of a package called Mautic, which I don't use, but I'm not sure that is causing any issue. It never had before, it's been there a long time.

So I have tried every plesk repair, and turned off mail, and deleted DrWeb and repaired permissions and...you get the idea. I run a check of the system and am told everything looks fine. But if I try to do things, like backup a domain or delete a domain, I get this:

Communication with task manager has failed: Internal Server Error: '{"code":null,"description":null,"message":"Stdin.Write failed: mkdir /var/lib/plesk/task-manager/runtime/1897808/: too many links (*fs.PathError)"}

So I fixed fs.patherror with: plesk repair fs -verbose, and it says it worked. I'm running out of ideas.
