Hello,

I sugest of plesk migration manager compact mail messages on transferer, because transfering non-compacted files have big slow.

Delete files on old server only after finish restore is a good option too make transfer more fast.
 
Hello!

The PMM already have archived files during migration from remote host. If you use remote migration by POP3/IMAP4 protocol - this protocols does not support compression, but in this case you could use remote migration running PMM agent at remote computer.
