• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Confusing problem with website and ip addresses

New Pleskian
Hello,

i have a confusing problem...
my website and the plesk admin panel wasn't reachable from outside.
Now after a few tests, i found out, that if i delete one specific ip address, the website and admin panel are reachable again - but only for about 30 seconds - then i get an error: "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE" if i reload the page.

After a few seconds/minutes, the removed ip address is added again.
Then, if i remove the ip address again, the website is reachable again and so on...

I know this has something to do with the IPv6 protocol.
I have tried to disable this protocol, but the problem persists.

I can't found any useful information in the logs:
- /var/log/messages
- /var/log/nginx/error.log

How can i solve this?

Thank you.

I suppose that problem in that private IP addresses 10.0.1.x are not associated with an external one. Tools & Settings > IP Addresses > click on 10.0.1.x IP and in Public IP Address field add an IP address of the server.
After that check the issue again.

Thank you for your fast reply.
In the meantime i reinstalled CentOS and Plesk. Now it works without any problems.
I think there was an issue somewhere else in the system - maybe some config files.

Cheers
