We originally had our website hosted on 1 webserver with the database on the same server.
This weekend I have now created 3 load balanced webservers with 1 database server.
They are set up as follows:
Web 1: Centos / Plesk
Web 2: Centos / Plesk
Web 3: Centos / Cpanel
DB Server: Centos /Cpanel
I have imported the database into the database server and the site files to all of the webservers. I have then changed the configuration file to point at the database server with new logins.
Web 3 connects fine to the DB server but Web 1 & 2 won't connect and display this error:
Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL.
My only thoughts can be this is because of Plesk but I'm unsure as to why as it's connecting to the DB via Plesk. I've put a default holding page on Web 1 & 2 as a test and these display fine.
Hope someone can help!
