Resolved Create subdomain fails with php 7.1

SiegbertG

Basic Pleskian
Hello,
Im using Plesk Onyx Version 17.0.17 Update-Nr. 19.
Installed PHP-handler is PHP 7.1 and for long time all seem to work fine.

Now I tried to create a new subdomain (last time I needed a new subdomain was with Plesk 12.5). This fails in Plesk Onxy 17 with the following error:

phpinimng failed: invoke-rc.d: initscript plesk-php71-fpm, action "status" failed.
invoke-rc.d: initscript plesk-php71-fpm, action "status" failed.
Service plesk-php71-fpm is down after attempt to start it

I found an older message with PHP 5.6 and the same error that was fixed in Plesk 12.5. Is there a fix for the error with PHP 7.1 in Onyx too?

Regards
Siegbert

Hi SiegbertG,

actually, such issues "can" happen ( shouldn't happen, but just like 100 % uptime, there might always be a reason, why this can fail! ) and you shouldn't really worry about it. Just use another handler, save it and re-choose the previous desired PHP-handler and all should be fine. ;)

If you still experience issues/errors/problems, pls. consider to read and follow: => #4
