Hello All,

I recieved a call from a client today saying that he was unable to setup a scheduled task.
When I try access the scheduled task via the domain or via Tools & Settings --> Tools & Resources --> Scheduled Tasks, I get the following error

Code:
ERROR: PleskFatalException

Up Level
crontabmng: execve failed for /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng: Permission denied

System error 13: Permission denied

Make sure that you have correct permissions for file:

# ls -la /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper
---s--x--- 1 root psaadm 14336 Aug 19 2013 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper

Thanks IgorG

I checked the permissions on /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper - mine were totally wrong.
I reset the permissions with chmod 4110

# ls -la /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper
---s--x--- 1 root psaadm 19368 Aug 19 2013 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper

I then tried to allow user with enabled chrooted shell run scheduled tasks outside chrooted environment
http://kb.parallels.com/en/115889

when I ran that command, I got the following error.

# /usr/local/psa/bin/server_pref --update -crontab-secure-shell ""

2014-05-14T15:55:09+02:00 ERR (3) [util_exec]: proc_close() failed
crontabmng: execve failed for /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng: Permission denied

System error 13: Permission denied

# ls -la /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng
---------- 1 root root 27992 Aug 19 2013 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng

I then changed the permissions

# chmod 750 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng

# ls -la /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng
-rwxr-x--- 1 root root 27992 Aug 19 2013 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/crontabmng

Re run the command which was successful.

#/usr/local/psa/bin/server_pref --update -crontab-secure-shell ""
SUCCESS: Server preferences are successfully updated

I can also access the Scheduled tasks via the Panel interface.
