• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Custom Nameserver Suddenly Not Working

Hi there.

Yesterday I was messing with the Plesk 8.0 backup system and something went wrong. I tried to backup a domain that resulted in

/dev/sda6 5119900 4303636 816264 85% /var

being completely full and the backup just sitting there in an (seemingly) endless loop.

I then went and disabled all backup features for all domains and restarted the server. Everything seemed to be back to normal...

Except for the fact that all domains on my server that were using the custom nameserver that I had running are no longer resolving. I can't access any of these sites.

Can anyone offer up any advice as to how to fix this? I've got about 10 domains that can access their email or their websites. Yikes!

I tried deleting the nameserver and re-adding it.. but it hasn't fixed it.
