• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Customizing Notification Emails

Hey everyone,

I've been tinkering with the Notification emails, as I need to translate them in to finnish, but I'd also need to include an image or two, but so far I haven't really succeeded.

Apparently the emails get sent in plain text, anyone know how to change them to html?

I'd also need to change the subject line, but no idea where to start.

Thank you in advance!

Hello, Pauli

To view or modify the notification system settings (also translate them to Finnish):

1. Go to Home > Notifications (in the Logs & Statistics group).
2. By selecting the check boxes in the Notifications table, specify the types of control panel users or external e-mail users who should receive notices on events.
3. To view or edit/translate the default notice text, click the respective icon in the Text column.
In notices you can use tags that will be replaced with actual data (see the table below).
4. Specify when to send the user account and domain (Web site) hosting account expiration notices. By default, such notices are sent 10 days in advance. Click OK.

Unfortunately I did not find any information about how to insert the pictures into notification emails with the help of Parallels Plesk Panel (PP).

Please, check the following article for more information:

Hello,

thank you both very much!

Though I knew about the Notifications, I didn't know about the specific tags.

Creating my own mail handler seems like an alright option.

Once again, thank you. :)
