Question Daily-Backup

omexlu

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

Has the option be removed to deactivate a domain before the daily-backup runs? (customer backup / website / databases)?

I can't find it on settings of the backup.

See screenshot of old Plesk Onyx, this option is not displayed anymore:

Thanks in advance.

Indeed, it was decided to remove this option, because the disadvantages of its use outweighed the pros. Unfortunately, too many problems were caused by this unreliable function.

This was very useful because the data are very persistent if the website in my example a forum don't get shut down for this time it can make problems if the backup in the worst case get needed.

For example this night I get a small error on full/incremental backup because 2 files was deleted on the time of the backup.

This was never the case when this option was activated.

Thanks in advance
