  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

DailyMaintainance breaks usage stats

Hi there,

Since upgrading to 9.0.1 at the beginning of the week we have been getting drastic inconsistencies in the amount of disk space actually used and the amount plesk is reporting.

For example, I can clear the current disk usage from the domains table in psa sql database, set to zero, I know for a fact this particular domain uses ~ 700mb on disk, I run the :

/usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun
/usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php

daily cron script, plesk then reports 3.6GB of disk space used, this ofcourse puts the domain over its limits, starts bouncing email etc. This is happening to approx 60-70% of the domains on our server with no rhyme or reason.

Has anyone else experienced this problem ? any suggestions or help muchly appreciated, I have been waiting over 3 days for tech support engineers to address this issue :-(

Cheers.

what about domain backups? did you check it ? (they are stored in separate directory outside of domain's vhost folder)
