However, checking the backup file, date is ok :

tar -tvf dumps/domains/domain.com/backup_domainmail_2205161809.tar | grep box/Maildir/cur/
-rw------- popuser/popuser 29354608 2021-12-01 13:53 box/Maildir/cur/1638363221.M364439P6250.server.com,S=29354608,W=29735873:2

it's not supposed that plesk backup with tar tool should also datetime file creation ?

Hi I have the same issue

Why does Plesk restore files with the restore timestamps when the tar already has the original timestamps!? It seems absurd to extract the tar files manually to fix this but it may be something I have to do.

Hi @Groo, you found a product issue that is already known. Yet it still needs to be solved. The internal tracking ID that will eventually show up in the change log when this is fixed is PPPM-10282. Change Log

Hey, everyone. I would like to inform you that the issue with the incorrect timestamps during restores is fixed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65. If you have automatic updates enabled (or already run Plesk version 18.0.65) this update should be installed already.

The “last modified” timestamps on the users’ files restored from backup (including mail) are no longer reset to the current date upon restoration. This also prevents files restored from backup from being unnecessarily included in incremental backups. (PPPM-6333, PPPM-10282)
