• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Dedicated IP

How can I create a "Client" account and assign a dedicated IP that will be used for all domains on this account?

I created a client template that assigns a dedicated IP.. this works correctly, and the client can create the first domain without a problem. However, when they add another domain to the account, it won't let them use the IP address again for the second domain.

Do I need to assign a shared IP to the template? I don't want more than one client account to use the same shared IP...

How can I do this?

you must assign a shared ip address to that client, so he/she can add how many domains are necessary

to solve this problem, you can assign an IP address different from the one that is used on your client template. this way all the other clients will have different IP addresses

hope it helps
