Hi,
When I clone a site using WP Toolkit to a new domain or new test area it always strips the www. out of the url in the WP_Options table.

For example:

Will always clone to the non-www version.

Is there a way to configure the cloning part of WP Toolkit to keep the www.

For security reasons we normally use htaccess to redirect all http to https and all non www traffic to www.

If I am not mistaken (so I could be wrong) the WPT takes the "Preferred domain" option from the domains Hosting settings regarding www or non-www. Only if the Preferred domain option is set to include www, a site is cloned with www in the URL.

Under tools and settings > Server Settings > preferred domain to www. It still doesnt apply this when cloning a site with WP-Toolkit.

The site I am cloning includes www. but the cloned site reverts back to https

I can't replicate the issue with a barebone Wordpress installation. For me, when the "preferred domain" option is set to www, a cloned site includes the www prefix as well. Only when the "preferred domain" option is set to something different, the cloned site won't include the www prefix in the url.

I am not sure why your results are different. Could it be a Wordpress plugin that prevents this (somehow)?
