deleted httpdocs, how to get plesk control panel back?

Hello,

I accidentially deleted the content of httpdocs and now I can't login into plesk anymore. I get only an internal server error 500.

Is there any way to restore those files? I don't want a complete backup, because this would cause the database to be rolled-back, too. Would it help to create a new subdomain?

best regards

Which httpdocs do you mean? If you talk about admin interface - it is /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/
In this case it is part of plesk-core package. Just try to reinstall it.

I deleted the content of /var/www/vhosts/domain.de/httpdocs

I copied all of /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/ back, but now I get the message, that this content is part of Plesk 9 and can't be run, because I use Plesk 10. What is the command to reinstall plesk on ubuntu? Is it using apt-get?

Content of /var/www/vhosts/domain.de/httpdocs is content of client's domain domain.de and it is not related to Plesk functionality. If you haven't backup of this domain you can't restore content of this site. In that case I recommend you remove site in Plesk interface and create it again. Default content of site will be restored. After that you can create needed content for this site again.
