• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Delivery status notification

Dario

New Pleskian
Hi,

i got plesk onyx 17.0.17 and I'm trying to set up an e-mail address, but when I send it a test e-mail i recive back:

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients was aborted after 2 second(s):"

How can i fix this?

Hi Dario,

you should consider to investigate your mail.log for errors/issues/problems.

In addition, pls. make sure, that if you registered a domain at a domain registrar, and your rented Plesk server is not the initial nameserver, you have to place A + MX records at the Control Panel from your domain registrar.

For further investigations and possible suggestions from people willing to help you, you have to step out of anonymity and provide the domain - name and the used eMail - address.
