• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Denying access using Plesk and IIS

Hello,

I am using plesk7.5 on Windows server with IIS.

I am migrating to IIS from Apache.

Apache has an .htaccess file for denying and redirecting undesirable IP addresses and Domains by name.

IIS "Internet Services Mangager" has a dialog for editing "Directory Security" for doing this.

Is there a way to edit these IIS "Directory Security" settings through Plesk?

I wish to deny ip ranges and redirect them.

Thank you,
Robert

Unfortunately, it is impossible to edit these IIS "Directory Security" settings through Plesk. You should use IIS mmc to change these settings.

However

You can define admin access to Plesk CP:
1. Plesk CP->Server->Access-> Define here allowed or denied IP ranges for CP access
