TwitterDifferent SMTP Smarthosts for Domains
Is it possible so send mails over different SMTP smarthosts for Domains hostet on our Plesk Server?
Meens Domain x y and z send over IP www.xxx.yyy.zzz, all other use the gateway of the ISP.
Why:
We use a hosted spam and av service in the net. The advantage is that virus and spam mailsdont ge to our server and we have less traffic.
To use this service we set the MX DNS record for the concerned domains to the server ip of the service provider.
He test the mail for spam and visrus and forward the good mails to our server.
To get no problems with other mail protection services we MUST sne our mails over a ip that ist listed in the MX records of our DNS server. So the service provider let us relay outgoing mails over theirs SMTP server. But only for domains that use the Service.
