• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Different websites without fixed IP-adres

Hello people,

As an absolute beginner, I am testing Plesk. So please forgive me this stupid question that has, without any doubt, already been asked a 1.000 times, but I don't seem to find the answer...

Is it possible to run Plesk and host different websites on a machine that has no fixed IP-adres ? I am trying this at the moment, and the domain name I am using gets to my PC via dyndns.

However, Plesk does not seem to "recognize" the origin and I always get the Plesk main screen instead of the specific website.

Is this not possible or am I simply a beginner who does not know how to achieve this ?

Many thanks in advance for all suggestions !

Kind regards,

Benoit.
