Question Direct Access to phpMyAdmin

Hi,
I need to give a third party access to my mySQL db, but do NOT want to give them access to Plesk.

I understand that this is possible - but do I need to get a SysAdmin to do it - or can a simpleton like me do it?

The official Plesk instructions are beyond me! Is there any easy way from withing the Plesk interface to achieve this?

Hello,

You need to be familiarized with SSH, if you dont know how to login as root through SSH and edit the file in question, chances are you wont be able to enable this.

I encourage you to check on how to use SSH, the change required to allow remote phpmyadmin access is extremely easy.
