  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Can you provide more information please? What you have said isn't enough to go on.

Example: have you configured the domain in question to use nameservers that point to your plesk box? Do those nameservers work correctly? Have you tried doing a dig @ localhost domain.tld to see if Plesk's named has the correct records?

The screenshot shown below is my default dns settings taken from who.is

The screenshot shown below is the one which i added in DNS settings under [Website & Domains >> DNS Settings >> domain(manage)]

Its been more than 48hrs and its not been updated. Is the above mentioned way is the right one to update DNS records or is there any other way?

Any help would be appreciated

Well, it looks like your domain is registered via Godaddy or a Godaddy reseller, yes?

The screen shot shows that the domain has been set to use nsX.domaincontrol.com as nameservers, which means that your Plesk box will not control the DNS for the domain in any way at all. Instead, DNS will be controlled by the DNS settings in your domain's control panel at the registrar. This is fine, but it means nothing you do in Plesk will have any effect, ever. Specifically, the MX records point to Godaddy servers, not your Plesk box, so incoming email will not be received by your plesk box.

The simplest thing, if you only need to adjust one domain, is to make your DNS changes in your registrar's control panel.

But if you want DNS handled by Plesk, take a look at this thread: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?294714-Plesk-11-5-Dns-Problem-First-Time-install
