DNS/MSSQL Services can't be disabled

I don't use any DNS service at my plesk servers.
I run a DNS server remotely.

Plesk stops responding if i set Plesk Components Management->" DNS service is switched off "

Plesk also stops responding if i disable MSSQL service.

Now I can't login at Plesk to Enable DNS Service

How do i fix that ?

Plaese go to "Local Area Connection" and specify your remote DNS service as "Preffered DNS server"

The remote DNS servers was alredy set as "Preffered DNS server".
Plesk doesn't work without one DNS service option (Bind or MSDNS).

This can happen if you keep Plesk configuration in MSSQL

My Plesk is using MSAccess Database. There is no MSSQL database in use.


By the way, i also can't disable Mail service.

The Plesk performance in this server is terrible.

I moved all services to Linux/Plesk.
This server is used ONLY for HTTP.

I want do disable all unused services.

Unfortunatly you are right. It is impossible to disable Mail service completely yet. We suppose to allow it in Q3'07

It is possible if SiteBuilder is installed but stopped or MSSQL is stopped. In this case you should disable SiteBuilder via registry
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\PLESK\PSA Config\Packages\sitebuilder\wsbnet]
