  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

DNS problem

i add the domain to the server, but is not able to resolve the domain, checked it in
dnsreport but it says

A timeout occurred getting the NS records from your nameservers! None of your nameservers responded fast enough. They are probably down or unreachable. I can't continue since your nameservers aren't responding. If you have a Watchguard Firebox, it's due to a bug in their DNS Proxy, which must be disabled (31 Jul 2006 UPDATE: several years after being informed of this, there is a rumor that there is a fix that allows the DNS proxy to work).

but the server is up and running
can anybody helpme?

Check to verify that your box is not blocking incoming or outgoing traffic on port 53 (TCP for the requests, UDP for secondary servers, if you have any configured). If either is blocked, it can cause problems with outside sources being able to query the server.

Also, login to the box as root and issue: netstat -na |grep :53, place the output in this forum IF the firewall is not a problem, we'll see if we can find out why it's not working..

Additionally, you may want to make sure you have named running. In most cases "service named status" or "/etc/init.d/named status", but it really depends on your OS. I'm sure everyone here is more than happy to help you, we just need a bit more info from you...
