• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

DNS Setup

I am confused on how to set the DNS properly on plesk.
Presently I have just got online a dedicated server at GoDaddy running Windows / Plesk
If I use a outside DNS (GoDaddy)the domain resloves fine.
but if I set to point to my server & after propagation it will not work. I want to set up the DNS (NS record) on the plesk server as ns1.jtekhosting.com & ns2.jtekhosting.com

Looking at dnstools.com with my IP of the server
208.xxx.xx.26 resolves to ip-208-xxx-xx-26.ip.secureserver.net

The IP is the same across but the .secureserver.net is GoDaddys DNS.
I checkes thru the FAQ's, fourms but no luck.

Here are my values System>Server>DNS>:

Host Record type Value
208.xxx.xx.26 / 24 PTR <domain>.
<domain>. MX (10) mail.<domain>.
ftp.<domain>. CNAME <domain>.
mail.<domain>. A 208.xxx.xx.26
mssql.<domain>. A 208.xxx.xx.26
ns.<domain>. A <ip>
ns1.<domain>. NS ns1.jtekhosting.com.
ns1.<domain>. A 208.xxx.xx.26
sitebuilder.<domain>. A 208.xxx.xx.26
webmail.<domain>. A 208.xxx.xx.26

Thanks
