• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

My environment is Plesk 10.4/BIND DNS running in Windows 2008 R2.

Sometimes when our resellers are trying to create subscriptions, something happen during the creation process and the DNS zone is not created.

Looking at the eventviewer log, it shows:

The system cannot find the file specified. (Error code 2) at LsaRemoveAccountRights
at (VPolicy::removeAccountRights line 80)
at removeAppPoolIdentity(IWPD_47(basesrv))(WebServerAdapter::removeAppPoolIdentity line 3631)
at removeAppPool(base.srv.br(domain)(2.0)(pool))(WebServerAdapter::removeAppPool line 3750)
at removeAppPool(base.srv.br(domain)(2.0)(pool))(WebServerManager::removeAppPool line 4031)
at deleteHosting(base.srv.br)(WebServerManager::deleteHosting line 3169)
at execute console command --remove-vhost(vconsoleapp::start line 132)
at execute "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\/admin/bin/websrvmng" --remove-vhost "--vhost-name=base.srv.br"(vconsoleapp::run line 143)
Execute file name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\websrvmng.exe

It turns out that the subscription is created and appear in plesk panel but the DNS zone doesn't exists at named.conf.

Could someone help me with this issue, please ?

Thanks,
