• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question DNSSEC only for €?

Janko1000

Regular Pleskian
I tried the DNSSEC Addon and now the Addons tells me i have to buy a License?

Serious?

With all the needed Plugins, cost Plesk ~50€ and more....

Surprising decision. DNSSEC is important stuff, should be in the core of Plesk. With security developments evolving fast, it might get as important as secured HTTP is now on a relatively short term.

This certainly isn't a niche feature, but that's my opinion.

The same like having to pay extra for HTTPS or secured (web)mail access, or other security features the web require you to have.

Maybe it's better to implement a pay-as-you-grow model (based on the number of domains someone is hosting), but that's a different discussion.

Hello,

Plesk DNSSEC license for free is included in all Plesk Web Pro and Host edition licenses now. To use the DNSSEC extension with the license, it's necessary to order and install the extension license (or you could try to use "Retrieve Keys").

Plesk DNSSEC license is not included only in Plesk Web Admin licenses.
