• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Does Plesk Billing 10 bill for overages yet?

HostaHost

Regular Pleskian
All the previous iterations of the billing product were supposed to bill for disk and traffic overages but never did. I'm curious if anyone has gotten Plesk Billing 10 to bill customers who've exceeded their plans?

I'm not asking if the manual says it works. It has said that all the way back to when it was still called Modern Bill and it has never worked. We were told the following in 2009 when we opened a ticket on this issue:

You can see at the "Attributes" tab that the usage type is "traffic" and it is defined in Gb, so a client who overuses 10 Gb will be charged extra 2$ per each Gb. Please refer to the documentation article:

http://download.ppb.parallels.com/6.0/doc/parallels-plesk-billing-6.0-administrator-guide/17438.htm

Then when we gave an example of how that did not work we got back "You're correct, that's a bug and it will be fixed in a future version."

So again; does billing for overages work now or does the manual still say it does when it doesn't actually work?
