  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain alias css file - 404 Not Found nginx

Chris1

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I have a domain example.com with an alias sub.example.com.

This client has a strange setup but it worked fine for them on Plesk 10 with Apache only. It has recently been migrated to Plesk 12 with nginx/apache.

Since the migration, they seem to be missing some css, I checked the source code, tried going to the css files and I get the page "404 Not Found - nginx". These files certainly exist though.
Code:
sub.example.com/dir1/css/dir2/style.css

I tried creating a test html file in "dir2" and it loaded fine by going to:
Code:
sub.example.com/dir1/css/dir2/test.html

Why can't these css files be loaded properly by nginx?

What is version of your Plesk? 12.0 or 12.5?
I remember bug in one of 12.0 microupdate when links for the vhosts configuration files were removed. Nginx stops serve vhosts and static files (CSS/JS/JPG) were not loading on web sites. There was simple workaround

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

Have you tried it?
