• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

domain alias question

Regular Pleskian
found this in the knowledgebase:

http://faq.sw-soft.com/article_41_894_en.html

So I try adding "ServerAlias www.alias.com" to the /home/httpd/vhosts/example.com/httpd.conf file.

but I get a syntax error when I include it under the <directory> heading. If I put it outside <directory> I don't get an error, but it also doesn't work. So I try using the apache <VirtualHost> heading, but I get this error:

<VirtualHost> cannot occur within <VirtualHost> section

I must be doing something terribly wrong. What is the correct way to do this in Plesk 8?
