• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domain do not get back online after backup

we do the automatic backups every night via the plesk backup manager.

now - since a couple of days - the domains are deactivated for the backup process, but never get back online. The Backup process simply stalls, and ps aux gives me a list of procedures in the line for hours.

Is there a way to get close to this problem? Any logfile to view here, or an measures to be taken?

The only advice I like to give about Plesk's backup/restore utilities - stop using them and switch to another backup solution. Over the last 2 years, there have been many reasons why their utils will fail (use Forum Search to see).

I would recommend one of these:

Acronis products - higher price

4PSA products - lower price, but not free.

My motto is - free is not always a good thing.
