Question Domain on Plesk - Subdirectory on Shopify

Hey.

Currently building a website on example.com and would love to use Shopify on the same url but on a subdirectory -> example.com/shop

However I am having troubles trying to point A AAAA and CNAME to Shopify for just the subdirectory on my Plesk panel.

Is this something that is allowed?

I have followed this doc DNS Zones for Subdomains

I have 2 websites on my plesk under the same

But doesn't seem to work.

It is not possible to create DNS records for sub-directories.

But a subdomain (shop.example.com) will work with the DNS

I have tried this work around, however would also need to create a rule to forward from subdomain to subdirectory.

Also, would the rule hurt my SEO rankings?

I wanna have the juice from my main .com
