Domain? or not Domain..

Hello,
I just wonder.. is it possible to create many users on one domain? I also don't understund how the domain made in plesk works. It is not really a standard domain that we can type in browser to access it, I have figure out, it works like a <in program> domain. So why do I need to create any domain at all to be able to create a new user? And why we call it a domaina fter all it's not a real domain?

You can create sevderal type of user on domain
1. Subdomain account
2. Additional ftp accounts
3. additional FronPage accounts
4. Web users

So I have created a new domain named "szaman.pl" . How do I make it work?
Since when I click on site preview new windows pops up with this address http://85.214.29.65/$sitepreview/szaman.pl/ but no website loads up. http://85.214.29.65/ is my actual IP address of the server. Will I be able to make this domain works so when anyone type in browser http://szaman.pl he will see website on my server?
