• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domain template with no limits?

Is there any way to create a domain template in such a way as to not limit disk space per domain? We want to only enforce limits on a per-account basis, and not on a per-domain basis. However, as best we've been able to determine, this is not possible- Plesk will not allow a domain template with "unlimited" disk space to be applied to an account with limits. We tried setting the limit to zero, but this caused all our clients to get quota warning emails.

The reason we want to do this is to integrate with our billing software and automate account creation- which requires use of domain templates. if we can't do this, we'll have to create domains manually for customers- not a problem at our current level of business, but inefficient if we expand the way we want to.
