domainmng failed: User or role doesnot exist in the database

Hello,

While trying to disable a client which has over 200 domains.. I recieve the following error....

some erros occured while turning off domains: domainmng failed: User or role 'jokes' doesnot exist in the database


Please advise how can we fix this?
