• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domains not resolving after update!!

Hi,

I used the updater in the control panel to upgrade to the latest components of Plesk 8.1.0 and now none of the domains on a shared IP can be accessed and several other domains on exclusive IP's are not accessible either. Some of my domains do however work perfectly!

I have checked the dns using dig and the tools on dnsstuff and all the reported information is correct and ping requests work fine. It appears that there is a problem with the port as when I check the http headers I get "Error 111: Connection refused" even though named and httpd are listening.

Does anyone have a solution or suggestion for further troubleshooting these problems?

Regards

Craig

Just in case anyone else experiences the same problem, use arping to check the IP.

In my case it turned out to be IP conflicts on several of my assigned IP's!
