  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Dropbox backup restore failed after server upgrade

si47ash

New Pleskian
Hi,

I have a Wordpress site on Plesk using DropBox to do the backup daily.
The host firm upgraded the server and for some unknown reasons now my database is gone!

When I tried to restore the backup this happened:

Failed to Execute: \'/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore\' --restore \'/tmp/dropboxFITGJy.tar\' -level domains -filter list:blahblah.com 2>&1
Output: The specified backup file is corrupted, modified, created on another server or in an earlier Plesk version. To restore it, use the -ignore-sign option.

And then I have tried to restore the database, I downloded the DropBox backup and manually tried to Import Dump in Plesk. It didn't work out either:

Unable to import the blah dump:
ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 1: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near \'backup_1803010231

Please help! My website is gone and the host firm doesn't know anything. They just balme Plesk for everything.

In Plesk go to Tools & Settings > Backup Manager and press Upload then select the option Upload backup files without a valid signature, click Browse and specify the Dropbox backup file to upload.
I hope it will help.

I'm having the same problem. And I was not able to migrate through the Panel or Backup Upload. I am sending via FTP and trying to update the Daos Bank via Mysql dashboard.
