drweb32.key - Key file not found!

I just updated to Plesk v. 8.1.0 and PSA never restarted, because:

# service psa start

fails when drweb tries to load a key.

[root@981 drweb]# service psa start

Key file: /opt/drweb/drweb32.key - Key file not found!
A path to a valid license key file does not specified.
Plesk authorization failed: HTTP request error [7]
Error: Plesk Software not running.
[FAILED]

This means that I can no longer access the Plesk web interface.

I do not want to pay for DrWeb so I will need to uninstall DrWeb, but how do I do this without access to the web interface?

Perhaps I could start PSA without DrWeb?

Seems Digiter has a similar problem - but so far no solution, see thread.

The solution seems to be:

service psa stopall

service psa start

Worked for me.

My solution to get things running again, without drweb.

In /etc/init.d/psa

comment out the line,
service_after_psa="drwebd"

then service psa stopall
service psa start

it should start without drweb

not have to figure out how to REMOVE drweb completely

I performed the suggested solution and it got rid of the error and psa appeared to have started but i am still getting that pesky plesk mis configured error so I am doing a re-install of my VPS now. If ANYONE has more information, please let me know! I work for the hosting company I am with and we have tons of Virtual servers and dedicated servers that are beginning to experience this problem!
