Issue Email Forwards Cause Backscatter

Hey,

i am using qmail on Plesk Onyx but the Plesk Version is not the problem.
There are email addresses with external forwarding and the server ip is currently listet at backscatter.org’s RBL

Digging into emails sent to the postmaster, I might found the reason. Someone had emailed an account which was being forwarded to another account. However, this other account was no longer valid. As a result, the forwarded email was bouncing back to the original sender.

In Plesk all email preferences of all domains are set to reject in case of not existing alias. But that setting will not touch the given situation above.

Is there any way to disable these bounce messages for forwarding mails?

This problem can be avoided with Postfix. Plesk implements Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS) but as far as I know this option is only available when using Postfix instead of qmail, see: DKIM, SPF, and DMARC Protection
