• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Email issues

New Pleskian
Hi,

I have a Windows virtual server 2008 R2 standard, running Plesk Panel 9.3.0, which is having some problems regarding incoming email.

The Plesk panel on this server is using MailEnable version 1 to handle incoming/outgoing email, however recently, we've come across email getting stuck in queues within MailEnable itself.

To get around this, we have to resetart the Mailenable services, sometimes having to remove the stuck message.

My question is, if we were to upgrade MailEnable to version 5 (according to posts online, this helps resolve the problem) then will we run into any problems with it's plesk integration?

Many thanks,

Luke
